2 reports with different connections, same environment but different model. How to make connection name dynamic?

Hi experts,

I have 2 reports connected to 2 different models in one single worksheet. In one report I am using EPMSaveData for which I am defining the connection name and it works just fine. My question is how can I make the "connection name" parameter inside the formula dynamic instead of being hard coded? since the user can name a connection as he/she wishes.

Sorry, but not clear:

"My question is how can I make the "connection name" parameter inside the formula dynamic instead of being hard coded?"

Which formula you are talking about?

In general you can use Model name as connection name, please read help: 33.1 Connection Name Parameter - Syntax

P.S. And EPMSaveData is not a good idea...

Yes, but what for??? Your Model name is fixed and not related to the connection name... Simply use the fixed model name in the formula...
