Hello,
We backdated a subscription starting on the 29th Nov 2022 with a monthly charge of 180 EUR.
In the bills, we have the following :
In the bill number 268, the billing period is 29 Nov 2022 - 31 Dec 2022 but we find that we have 2 charges.
December and January are grouped in same bill.
We notice that this behavior is only present when we create subscription with start date on the 29, 30 and 31.
On our subscription, we have not set the option "Bill Recurring Charges Together".
Why do we have 2 periods in the first billing period? Is it normal?

Your expectation is generally correct.
The relation between the billing period and the rating period is, that the billing period of a bill encloses the rating period of all charges it contains.
I'll forward your report to the team.
In addition, if you have the possibility, I would kindly ask you to open a ticket on component CEC-SAL-SB, which will provide you with better tracking of any follow-up action on our side.
