10.1 Embedded Data Loads Doubts?

Hi,

We have installed BW - 750 -SP2 for BPC Embedded 10.1.

1. Now for maintaining Master Data and Transaction Data, what is the Process?

2. If you have any standard documents for Data Flow for these, please share.

3. Suppose if I want to create a Z custom Real time info cube for BPC, what are the correct Info Objects

    that has to be included in it?

4. Can I include Info objects like 0GL_ACCOUNT or I have to include Objects with Tech Name starting with "/ERP/"

    or Objects starting with "/CPMB/"?

Is there any additional component need to be installed like /CPMBPC/ as in Standard BPC 10.0?

Hi Hemanth,

There is no software component for BPC in BW 7.5 - it's part of BW now.

Regarding InfoObjects, you can include whatever InfoObjects are required for you particular goal, i.e. it can be /ERP/..., if you are on S4HANA, or 0... or custom InfoObjects.

Regarding data flow, it depends what kind of InfoObject you use. For /ERP/... it's usually populated and maintained on ERP side. For 0... and custom you use BW loads to bring data from ERP side.

If you need members that aren't maintained in ERP - there is a How To ... Guide to add those in BPC.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Here we are looking at creating a consolidation, ownership, rate cubes in BW for BPC 10.1 Embedded Consolidation Model.

So we have gone through SAP NOTE: 2240898, and installed the objects as suggested(/CPMB namespace) and activated CPMB Attributes and Keyfigures delivered in BI Content under BPC info area.

We dont see all the Char info objects needed to create a BW Consolidation Cube to be mapped to BPC Consolidation Model.

Here do we need to create BW Consolidation Cube with CPMB info objects or we need to create custom objects for Consolidation requirement.

Does SAP has delievered any standard Info objects for Consolidation in BW 10.1 Embedded System.

What Char InfoObjects are you missing for BPC Consolidation Model, hopefully Embedded? Theoretically you can put any InfoObjects in that Model, but please read OSS Note 2243472. It will guide you what InfoObjects to include in that Model and simplify your further upgrade.
