10.1 Emb. Open AO document with context value on BI4.1 Platform

Hello,

With BPC 10.1 Embedded version.

From BPF activity, is it possible to open an Analysis Office document (which is stored in BI4.1 platform) and pass BPF's context values ?

In BOF activity design / hyperlink :

By using hyperlink / external ressource ==> using OpenDocument URL : I'm not able to use variable context.

By using Analysis Office ==> using document ID : Only document stored in Netweaver can be opened

Hi Tamás,

there is no solution now. I opened an incident and it's in progress by SAP support.

there is a workaround (absolutely not perfect!): if you select manully the context value and the correct value in the workspace (for each query variable) it's work.....

Issue is not listed as a restriction.

Somewhat strange is that latest PAM (updated in April 2016) requires BIP 4.2.

I do not understand your workaround.

If my BPF creates 100 E-Mails, than the AO workbook needs to open with proper variable/context/workspace for those 100 instances, say 100 different companies. So what do you mean with your workaround? In fact every user selecting his variables/context/workspace manually upon opening? That is no workaround! In that case I could also send manual E-Mail to my 100 users.
