BRIM Integration Subscription Contract Renewal Process Capabilities
Integration now supports change processes out of the box on single or multiple contracts. Users can add a subscription item to an existing contract or create a new contract document with reference to an existing contract, swap items, merge different subscription contracts into a single one, do cross sells or upsells and much more. SAP S/4HANA Cloud Sales Order integration now supports single level configurable products
The integration of
SAP CPQ Quote 2.0 with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Sales Order was enhanced to support not only simple products but also single-level configurable products. These are products with one root item and no subitems in the Advanced Variant Configurator (AVC) configuration.
Folder structure for Favourites
Streamline sales experience with ability to add folders and subfolders to organize their favorites. Also users can share favorite products and configurations with other users.
Multiselect in Quote 2.0
Users now can select multiple quote items and do copy or delete with selection with no custom work needed.
Scripts on Standard Field Change in Quote 2.0
In this release we bridged the gap where it was not possible to attach scripts on standard field changes while it was possible to do the same on quote custom fields.
Standard quote field events that are supported:
- On Market Changed
- On Pricebook Changed
- On Effective Date Changed
Free Input Fields Length
In order to support easier integrations we introduced ability to limit number of characters that their users can input for
Quote custom fields (Type: Free Form), Quote item custom fields (Type: text) and Cart comment field in quote.
Reset Product Configuration
While working on a product configuration, users can now reset it. Choosing Reset (besides the Add to Quote button) discards the settings made in all tabs, returns to the initial attribute values, and picks up the configuration on the starting tab. This is supported for both Quote 1.0 and Quote 2.0, for CPQ native and for products synced from back office.
Dynamically map conditions in pricing procedure mappings:
When document pricing is used in SAP CPQ Quote 2.0 we unlocked new degree of freedom by allowing multiple condition types to be mapped to a same column but also same condition to be mapped to multiple columns. Logic for determination is maintained in CPQ under Determination formula. Find full details in
help page for Pricing procedure mapping.
Exchange Rate Type formula in Quote 2.0
As part of the General Attribute Mappings for Quote 2.0, the new parameter Exchange Rate Type was added to the Global Attributes section.
Quote Visibility in Quote 2.0
Quote visibility is fully reinvented for Quote 2.0. Choose to use visibility by Company, Custom permission group, Brand, Market, User type and User. Decide for any of simple rules or define as many advanced rules that can be built with point & click.
Final Reminder: New SAP CPQ tenant URL
All customers must adapt to the new URL format by the time 2308 goes to production or they will risk a production system downtime. For the mandatory steps to take before the release of SAP CPQ 2308, see
