In case you missed it, Splunk and SAP’s partnership first announced
last year has quickly developed into two very exciting areas. One around enterprise security, with Splunk’s
Alert Action for SAP Enterprise Threat Detection. This Splunkbase app helps eliminate security blind spots across your SAP environment, proactively detecting and mitigating security attacks before your mission-critical ERP applications are compromised. Details of how to connect SAP Enterprise Threat Detection with Splunk Enterprise Security can be found
here.
The second and most recent area is the IT monitoring of your SAP infrastructure, using AIOps, with
Splunk Service Intelligence for SAP solutions I last
wrote about Service Intelligence for SAP solutions right after it launched on SAP App Center. It is truly a powerful IT monitoring tool, offering end-to-end views into the health and performance of your business processes. It correlates SAP S/4HANA data, with infrastructure data, to accelerate your outage detection and response by 80%-90%.
Bill Oakes with Splunk provides greater details about Service Intelligence for SAP solutions in his
blog post. Splunk is now offering this
eBook, which goes even deeper.
Last month, SAP was proud to be both a sponsor of Splunk’s
Harness the Power of AIOps virtual event, as well as a participant in a moderated discussion with Splunk. The conversation focused on the next generation of technologies, including AIOps, and the Cloud. You can still register for free and watch the replay.
Coming up next week, Splunk will be at SAP TechEd. Learn more about Splunk Service Intelligence for SAP solutions by attending both a presentation and demo, delivered by two outstanding Splunkers. Just add their Wednesday, Dec. 9
Channel 1 presentation to your Agenda Builder-
PT103- “Boost SAP Performance with New Splunk Service Intelligence for SAP Solutions”. Make sure to stop by their
virtual booth , view the related resources and directly connect with them to get your security and monitoring questions answered.
