Welcome to our blog series about SAP Subscription Billing’s new features!
In the past couple of weeks, we’ve delivered some handy enhancements to the user interface of SAP Subscription Billing: several improvements for the custom references table, the possibility to specify an expiration date for pending subscriptions, and filtering bills by multiple markets. Let’s take a look at them in detail:
Enhanced Custom References Table
The custom references table is now enhanced with the following new functions:
- You can search the custom reference data by customer reference ID and filter the data by customer reference type.
- Lazy loading is available to better support large list of custom references. Only 20 entries of custom references are displayed initially, and you can select More to load more entries.

The affected apps are:
- Customer Overview
- Manage Billing Data
- Manage Subscriptions
- Manage Products
- Manage Usage Records
Expiration Date for Pending Subscriptions

In the
Manage Subscriptions app, you can now set an expiration date for pending subscriptions. This allows you to change the end date as required by the provisioning process. For example, you can now postpone both the start date and the expiration date of the pending subscription due to a delay in the provisioning process.
Filter Bill List by Multiple Markets

In the
Manage Billing Data app, you can now filter the list of bills by selecting multiple markets, as long as the markets have the same currency and price type. You can also add a column in the list to show the market for which the bills were created.
Those were the features in our latest feature deliveries. Thanks for reading today’s blog post!
