Our blog series about new features in SAP Subscription Billing continues today with some new SAP S/4HANA integration features that have just been released.
So let's get started and find out how integration of SAP Subscription Billing with SAP S/4HANA has just got even better.
Extended Language Availability
SAP Subscription Billing is now available in the full set of languages that are supported by SAP S/4HANA Cloud. That makes a grand total of 33 languages:
English, Arabic, Bulgarian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Kazakh, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovakian, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, and Ukrainian.
Seamless Navigation
If you've integrated SAP Subscription Billing apps into the SAP S/4HANA Cloud launchpad, you'll notice an improved user experience. You can navigate between most
SAP S/4HANA Cloud and
SAP Subscription Billing apps without a new browser tab opening, for example if you navigate from a bill to customer details or from a solution order to a subscription.
You can now also integrate the following apps into the SAP S/4HANA Cloud launchpad:
To find out how to integrate the apps into the launchpad, refer to the instructions
Integration with the SAP Fiori Launchpad of SAP S/4HANA Cloud in the
Integration Guide.
Replication of Backdated Subscription Changes
The integration scenario Subscription Management with Sales Billing (scope item 57Z) now supports backdated cancellations and changes to subscriptions. This means that any retroactive update that you make to a subscription, such as changing a product or a customized price, is now replicated to the provider contract and into subsequent processes. The relevant amounts are automatically updated in revenue recognition.
For more information on this integration scenario, see the corresponding chapters in the Integration Guide:
And those were the features from our latest feature delivery. Thanks for reading today’s blog post!
