Welcome to our blog series about SAP Subscription Billing’s new features!
This week we are happy to share several features that were recently released: The support of a new theme and an additonal browser, enhancements for closing and transferring of bills, the enrichment of our out-of-the-box integration into S/4HANA and some new features in the pricing area. Let’s have a look together in detail:
New theme and Safari support
A new visual theme called SAP Horizon is now available in the user settings for the SAP Subscription Billing launchpad. To try out the new theme, select it in the user menu, under Settings ➡️ Appearance.
And for Apple users, Safari has been added to the list of supported browsers. You can now choose between Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox and Apple's Safari to work with your favorite application 😉.

Closing and transferring of bills
In the Bills app, you can now close multiple bills simultaneously from the list of bills instead of closing them one by one. To close bills manually, you require the role ui_bill_manage.
And for managing the transfer into the invoicing system after closing a bill, a new transfer status Transfer in Progress has been added.

Enhancements to integration with SAP S/4HANA
The integration scenario Subscription Management with Convergent Invoicing has been extended. As of SAP S/4HANA 2022, usage records have been added to consumption items to enable the display of usage data in the Convergent Invoicing billing and invoicing documents.
Price Calculation update
There is also some news from Price Calculation. Among a few other new features, market-based authorizations on lookup tables are now supported. Please see
