Welcome to our blog series about SAP Subscription Billing’s new features!
This week we are happy to share three features that were recently released: Support of new languages, a way to restrict user access on market level in the apps and a new experience when it comes to creating and updating usage records via the UI. Let’s have a look together in detail:
New language versions
We’ve expanded the language availability of SAP Subscription Billing and now offer the solution in these additional languages:
- Brazilian Portuguese
- Chinese
- Japanese
- Russian
Authorization restriction on market level
You can now authorize users to access data for particular markets only. For example, a user can be allowed to only display billing data for subscriptions in the market for which they are responsible. Authorization is controlled by roles that you define for your accounts on the SAP Business Technology Platform. You can find out more about roles and authorization in the
Setup and Administration Guide under
User Management.
Easier creation of usage records
Creating usage records for test or demo purposes is now much easier. In the
Usage app, you can create a new usage record by copying and modifying an existing one. Or you can create a new record from scratch and have a clearer overview of the fields that you need to fill out. You also see information about the assignment of the usage to a subscription, and other details such as the customer. What’s more, you can now edit existing records to update the quantity, external ID, and customer references.
