Maintenance update SAP Business Planning and Consolidation, version for the Microsoft platform

The purpose of this blog is to provide an update about the maintenance timelines for current releases of SAP Business Planning and Consolidation. We published the product strategy of SAP Business Planning and Consolidation in this blog and an updated version here. 

With respect to our SAP Business Planning and Consolidation, version for the Microsoft platform, we have currently planned a maintenance window for version 

SAP Business Planning and Consolidation 10.1, version for Microsoft until 30.06.2026.  

With the strategic product SAP Analytics Cloud, the overall planning product strategy is clearly defined. SAC presents a modern and powerful planning tool in the market which provides a huge feature set for developing planning applications. In addition to this SAC is a powerful tool for building analytics and predictive applications as well. The product range is rounded off with the functions of the unified story which provide the capabilities to build tailored analytical, planning, and predictive applications for the business. 

For these reasons, we decided not to extend the mainstream maintenance phase for SAP Business Planning and Consolidation 10.1, version for Microsoft beyond 30.06.2026.

The requirements for consolidation purposes will be addressed with our strategic solution for consolidation use cases, so called Group Reporting.
