In case you missed it, there was an excellent session on “Recent deliverables and Roadmap for SAP Process Control and Risk Management” delivered in June by my expert colleague from SAP Product Management – Marie-Luise Wagener-Kirchner, with support from Paul Petraschk.
This session was recorded so you can still watch after registering at the following location: session replay
This blog is therefore only a short summary of their presentation in case you want a quick glimpse of recent enhancements delivered in these 2 solutions.
For SAP GRC version 12.0, we have worked from Support Package 14 to 19 on creating 3 completely new SAP Fiori tiles:
The intent was to provide a one single entry screen to streamline the management of risks and related information in order to enhance the user experience with an increased efficiency in screen flow.

With the component UIGRRMPC 200, we have introduced additional personalization options for all three new SAP Fiori applications mentioned just above.
This includes the switching off, and of course also switching back on, of sections or fields that are not relevant for the daily work. Mandatory fields may not be excluded of course!
This enhancement provides an ultimately streamlined end-user experience to make daily work easier, and more efficient.

We have introduced a field control view for risk, called “V_GRRM_FLD_CNTRL” that can be maintained via transaction SM30 and has been developed from Support Packages 14 to 16.
With this enhancement, it can be centrally determined which fields are visible, which are mandatory and what kind of tool tip text should be displayed. Including custom-defined fields.
This feature allows customers to adapt screens to the real business processes and activities, while increasing the end-user support with adaptable messages as well as reducing the “noise”.

This enhancement relates to the reporting engine and integration into the application “Generate Report” with pre-defined report templates ready to be used to provide a sound starting point.
Reporting templates can now directly be developed in Microsoft Word and then be used from within the application. Furthermore, custom defined fields can also be included.
Business users can now create their individual reporting templates to meet the needs of various stakeholders utilizing the powerful – and very well known – Microsoft Word features and toolbox.

As a first step, a basic integration has been developed that allows to upload, download and link control information of SAP Process Control with SAP Signavio.
This helps reduce duplicate maintenance effort on controls while enabling a more seamless information integration.
With this enhancement, authorized users can directly drill-down from the SAP Signavio control into SAP Process Control and subsequent local control details showing control results, evidence, and issues.

Altogether, 10 SAP Analytics Cloud dashboards, 9 for SAP Risk Management and 1 for SPA Process Control, are now available out-of-the box and ready to use. These have been delivered with Support Packages 18 and 19.
These include:
With this enhancement, powerful evaluations, aggregations as well as interdependency assessments are available for analysis together with monitoring capabilities on risk profile, risk bearing capacity, and probability.
