Highlights of today;s Enablement Session : SAP Financial Closing Cockpit in SAP S/4HANA: Status and Roadmap

 

FCC – Financial Closing Cockpit (SAP FCc) is primarily for Entity Close ;

SAP BPC is Group Planning and Consolidation

 

SAP FCc is planned to be part of SAP S/4HANA 1709 (as opposed to being an add-on to ECC/SAP S/4HANA 1610 )

SAP FCc is planned to come with NEW & Renovated UX, (current capabilities remain)

SAP FCc remains to be a separate license. (Existing Licences will be credited

1. Central Close with SAP Financial Closing cockpit in Heterogeneous Landscape


2. SAP's Service Management Platform


3. SAP Process Control


4. SAP Financial Closing Cockpit is beyond "Closing"

 

 

FCC Migration from 2.0 to S/4HANA FCC – included in Migration part

Unfortunately not full-blown 1709, analytical apps comparable to SMART business. But on roadmaps.



 

As of December 2020, the strategic product for Financial close is  SAP S/4HANA Cloud for advanced financial closing (AFC).
