What companies don't often get about BPC implementations is that it is not only about solving a business problem using technology. Don't get me wrong, solving a business problem and using the right technology to do so is very important. But every implementation focuses on getting the right technology, so what is different with BPC implementations and why are so many BPC implementations still not deriving full benefits of the technology?

Why after a BPC implementation, companies are still struggling with these questions. Had we considered the latest release or a different software? OR How our legacy system was so flexible and could do much more? OR Should we have waited for the next release? OR Are our employees resistant to change? OR Is there too much internal politics in my company?

At the ASUG annual conference in May'15:
David McDonough, Director of Enterprise Data Management at Dolby and Suvir Shahani, Senior Managing Consultant, EPM Practice at TekLink International, Inc will be presenting 'Gaining Performance, User Adoption and Self-service while rapidly upgrading across and existing landscape'

David and Suvir will discuss on how getting end-users engaged early on and investing in change management initiatives in parallel while upgrading from BPC 7.5 to BPC 10.0 helped Dolby derive most benefits of BPC and exceed their target ROI

Please stop by at ASUG to introduce yourself and if you are on a journey to implement BPC, we hope to answer some of your questions

I found these below links very informative specially for those of you who are looking to upgrade or implement BPC 10.1
