We are excited to announce the release of SAP Convergent Mediation 9.2!
The key focus area in release 9.2 is to optimize productivity and availability benefits by introducing new features and enhancements designed to simplify architecture, way-of-working, version control, and integration.
Option to store run-time caches of de-duplication and inter-workflow functions on database (SAP HANA or PostgreSQL) instead of file-system. This allows having all the run-time data caches (including aggregation which is available from earlier versions) on database instead of file-system to streamline the system architecture. This is useful in scenarios where run-time data is replicated from primary to disaster recovery site by decoupling the replication frequency of file-system from the Recovery Point Objective (RPO), which defines the tolerable data loss on disaster, and aligns it with the replication frequency of the database.
For further details, see SQL Storage settings for Duplicate UDR Profile and Database Storage for Inter-Workflow Profile.
Import and Export integration with Git and AWS S3 enables you to streamline version control. You can clone Git and AWS S3 repositories, import/export configurations, and switch branches directly from SAP Convergent Mediation, which has been highly requested, see System Exporter.
Increasing the support for proxy, for selected agents (AWS S3, REST Client, HTTP/2), enabling them to be hosted more securely by going via proxy for connection to the public internet. This is particularly useful in private cloud hosting.
For more information on how to configure proxy connections: proxy documentation.
Streamlines way-of working of system and workflow logs, as they can now be viewed from the Desktop GUI, helping customers to easier search / understand / troubleshoot their system and configuration behaviours.
