Data screen (Adapt UI): Customize Relation Sub-Grids

This update allows users to customize the display order of relation sub-grids on the Data screen. Using the drag and drop functionality, users can  personalize and organize related data more efficiently. Once reordered and saved via the Adapt UI feature, the new sub-grid arrangement is applied consistently  across all expanded data rows, improving workflow consistency and the overall user experience.

Data Screen: Group level – Select, Delete and Copy

This update introduces group-level selection, deletion, and copying of records within editable tables, enabling bulk actions on entire groups to improve efficiency and reduce repetitive clicks. Users must expand a group before bulk actions become active, ensuring visibility of records to prevent unintended actions, for example, deleting all records under a specific functional area with a single action.

Model screen / Runtime Model screen: Search feature for Fields, Connections and Partitions

Previously, the Search feature was only available in the Functions tab. With this release, the Search feature has been extended to Fields, Connections, and Partitions tabs on both the Model screen and Show Runtime Model screens.

As you enter a search term, the system instantly filters the rows and displays only the rows whose ID or description contains below the search field

To make navigation easier, the results are categorized into “Modeling” fields and “Palette” icons, ensuring quick access to the most relevant items.

Model View / View: Aggregation supports Data-Type Characteristics

Model View and View functions have been enhanced to support aggregation of type “Count”  on Characteristic field of type “Date”. The previous restriction requiring the input and output fields of Aggregation of type “Count” to be of the same type has been removed, providing greater flexibility in data modeling.

This update allows COUNT to be applied to characteristic fields, including dates, with outputs assignable to either numeric Key Figures (such as tiny int, small int, integer, large int, double, or decimal) or Characteristics (String),

While enforcing validation to ensure output fields are of appropriate numeric or string types, thereby improving data modeling flexibility and consistency.

Runtime Functions: Total Disk Size of All Table Parts (Bytes)

A new field called Total Disk Size of All Table Parts (Bytes) is now available in the Display Runtime Functions application  under the Technical Information section, which displays the total disk space used by each runtime function.  This allows users to see how much space their data is using and helps keep track of resource consumption.
