This blog post aims to give you a short introduction to SAP S/4HANA Cloud for credit integration and points you to the official SAP documentation for the product.
When you assess the credit risk of your business partners, external credit information is key to your business. There are several credit agencies out there, such as Schufa, Dun & Bradstreet, or Creditreform, who provide you with up-to-date data and thereby help you minimize potential risks for your company.
Pain points: You always want the latest data from these credit agencies, and you don't want to manually maintain and assess this data in your systems. Therefore, you want an automated process to import the credit information into your system. However, connecting these credit agencies one-by-one to your SAP Credit Management system can be complicated because every credit agency has their individual integration set-up, and the maintenance on top can be time-consuming.
The idea of SAP S/4HANA Cloud for credit integration is simple: You connect your SAP Credit Management system once to the credit integration solution, which in turn is connected to several credit agencies that can provide you with their external credit information. This credit information is then forwarded back into your SAP Credit Management system.
Your benefit: With integrating only the credit integration solution, you have access to all credit agencies which are connected to it, without the before-mentioned overhead. At the time of writing this blog post, it connects you to 15 different credit agencies. You can see the current list of connected credit agencies here: Integrated Credit Agencies and Products
Because the credit integration solution is integrated with SAP Credit Management, credit controllers can access the solution from the credit profile of their business partner in the Manage Credit Accounts app:

They get forwarded to the Manage External Credit Information app, which is part of the credit integration solution. Here, they can see all external credit information for their business partner and order new products:
They can also find the business partner in the database of the credit agency, to assign the credit-agency specific ID to the business partner. This enables them to place the order at the credit agency.
In the Find Business Partner app, credit controllers can also look for any other business partner in the database of the credit agencies. To do this, they can select the country of their business partner...
...and the credit agency they want to get the information from:
