Hope you are doing great! 

Users may question why they are able to view all data by simply inputting the "%" symbol in the custom field within the quotation. The reason behind this is that it is the default behavior. If you are familiar with SQL queries, you would know that the "%" symbol is commonly used to retrieve relevant data from a database. Similarly, when importing data from a custom table into your custom field, you will notice this same behavior.

When you utilize the % symbol for a custom field that retrieves data from a custom table, it displays all the data contained within the custom table.

This outcome is anticipated and in line with the intended functionality. In this following image you observe that % is retrieving all data.

If you desire a particular output, you have the option to utilize the percentage symbol (%) followed by a letter to achieve your desired result.
