Year end activity for 2010

Dear Experts ,

Please can you help me to get what are the Year End Activity related to M.M with transaction code .Also in case of purchase order the number range is not on yearly basis so wheather i have to create new number range also for year end ?.

Adding to replies,refer 1529649 factory calendar expires 2010.

PO number range is not needed in year end activity.

Hi,

PO Number range is not year Specific but there are ceratin number ranges which are year Specific

1. Accounting documents

2. Material Document and Physical inventory document

3. Maintainance of factory calendar if new holiday calender is to implement every year.

The Period of FI & MM Posting must be open for new year if your FI year start from Jan to december.

GR/IR clearing should be maintained vai MR11 is there is no new invoice expected from the vendor.

Moreover clear all physical inventory document because they are year specific.
