I have not heard of when (or if) ASUG will hold it's Year-End Webcast, but those who happen to go to the ASUG HR & Payroll Conference in Toronto later this week may be able to find out. Note that the one for US Payroll will be on October 26 (https://www.asug.com/events/hr-hcm-us-payroll-and-tax-reporting-year-end-update-2017).

We've apply 2017YE HRSPs to test environment., also applied 3PR Performance note 2544664 and find that it creates errors before activation as

Class cl_hr3prna_evail_report, Method end_of_selection

the data object "ls_detail_items" does not have a component called "pernr_for_rollback"

Options is to proceed to activate the note, but I'm afraid if I do then when we run the programs there will be errors and dumps generated

This is urgent since we cannot proceed with our initial tests for GoLive in 3 weeks, timelines are being affected

Hello Maria,

Thanks for your update since it should warn others of problems to anticipate. We'll be uploading the HRSP in DEV Mid-November and keep that in mind (but I haven't looked at Note 2544664 yet).

I suggest that you log the problem with SAP using component PY-CA-YE in order to get a quick reply.

Hi Anna,

You are correct AB maximum has not changed since 2016, however most provinces have. The following is from the CPA 2018 legislative compliance rates sheet.

Thanks for the information Sheila, and glad that Jimson raised the issue with SAP. I will mention it to my co-worker who worked on the Y-E update.

I wonder if anyone raised the issue during ASUG's HCM Canada Payroll and Tax Reporting Year End Update 2017 last week (I was not able to attend and I've had no time to watch the recording).

We may wait for SAP's Delta Note, or if it's not out by early January, we may decide to update Constant TWONE directly in Table View V_T511K (since I work for the French School Boards of Ontario).

I also did a quick check of Table T5KTC and everyting seems to be in order for Federal and Ontario.

SAP has delivered a note for the XML and Forms changes for YE17 with manual instructions. This is normally delivered in a transport. Do you know if SAP will deliver a transport and when or we have to do it manually this year? If we have to do this manually, in what client? client 000 or 100?

We are on Release 6.00 and HR SP F2, and imported manual transports mentioned in Note2567001. But after that we cannot implement this note via SNOTE. Whether its required to implement this note via SNOTE after manual transports? Because when we did it in Release 6.04 all went well via SNOTE even though no transports got generated ?

We are SAPKE60846 (Release 6.08 and SP 46), but our Basis Team are the ones loading the HRSPs and Notes..

For any one facing similar issues: No code changes in Note 2567001, all changes are in manual transports from the attachment in notes. So even if note cannot be implemented no worries.

Hello Galina,

I have noticed that no one gave any feedback, and I can't help you much since we don't report to Revenu Quebec.

All I can suggest is that you make sure that you have applied all the PY-CA-YE Correction Notes that were published since early December (such as 2534843 and 2594970) and that you have the most recent MRQ Validation Schema. Next, visit https://launchpad.support.sap.com/ and log your problem using component PY-CA-YE.

Like Sheila, I also noticed that the 2018 WCB maximum assessable earnings were not delivered as part of the year end transport (note 2567001). In the past these amounts were delivered as part of the Legal changes. I plan to update the maximums manually.

I do not see any updates to WCB assessable earnings for 2018 (even googled it). This varies province to province and even for AB the maximum is still the 2016 limit.

We did not apply the note. Just made entries for FED, AB, and SK. It worked fine for me. Maybe check the entries based on manual steps to be sure they are correct. This issue may also depend on what release you are on.

In preparation to the Year Note, we upgraded from SAPKE60846 to SAPKE60846, and we have just noticed a problem with CRT when a employee is rehired in the middle of a pay period. Just found Note 2699667 and will ask for it to be applied.

That problem is pertinent to Canada Payroll Driver (RPCALCK0) and the US Payroll Driver (RPCALCU0), and there seems to be a similar problem for Concurrent Employment (see Note 2371212).

Just an update to let everyone know that the problem with Cumulation K in the CRT was solved with Note 2499667.

Additional information for CE environment:

We also had to install the note 2522559 - PY: Incorrect when-paid cumulation type on table CRT_PERSON

after the application of HRSPs this year to solve CRT_Person along with the note

2499667 which revolved CRT_Person K values issue.

I'm assuming these are the YE Transports to apply POST CLC?

SYS transports to apply in client 000 and customer clients ie client 200 etc..

SAP Note 2571631is for SAP R/3 enterprise (Rel 4.70)

Please refer to SAP Note 2567001 for SAP_HR ECC 6.0 to HR Renewal 2.0 6.08

As for the process, I believe that yes, the Workbench should go to Client 000 first, but since I'm not a Basis resource, I would point you to the comment on these notes which states that "SAP Notes 1318389, 13719, and 480180 describe the procedure for downloading and importing the data files, as well as the involved risks".

From 2 different sources, I heard that there would be an ASUG Canada Year-End 2017 Webcast, somewhere in the second half of November, but I haven't been able to get a confirmation on the Date yet (nor is it posted on ASUG's Calendar).

Still no news from ASUG about a "Canada Year-End 2017" Webcast, nor on if the "Canada Year-End 2017" Presentation that was held at the ASUG HR & Payroll Conference in Toronto will be published (but the CRA Presentation was published on ASUG).

We'll start the upgrade process next week (to SAPKE60846) in order to be ready to apply the Year-End Note in early December.
