XS Advanced For Business One?

What is the status of using XSA with Business One on premise (not cloud)? Currently we have 9.3 pl06 with HANA 1.00.122.16....

Can we install and use XSA or do we need to wait?

At one point it was said that XSA would not be supported for B1 until HANA 2.0.

If XSA is supported then what is the download link? It was not included in our HANA distribution.

Hi Mel,

When you upgrade to HANA SPS 12 you have access to Node.js, which gives you the ability to create XSA applications. You can continue creating XSC (classic) application or start working with XSA. You will find a lot of information about XSA in the following Open SAP classes:

• Software Development on SAP HANA (Update Q4/2016)
• Software Development on SAP HANA (Update Q4/2017)
• Software Development on SAP HANA (Update Q1/2019)

The first 2 have already run, you can attend them at your convenience. The third starts 23 January 2019.
