Worklist Creation for the Exchange rate Maintenance.

Dear Gurus,

I came to know, we can create worklists in order to maintain a specific country exchange rate in OB08 without depending upon on others, whether they opened that ob08 transaction or not. Because its not possible to update simultaneous from 2 users in a single transaction screen.

Could you please provide me the steps, How to Create a work list for the exchange rate type maintenance in OB08

the monthly exchange rates using transaction TBD5 and program RFTBDF06, should follow your requirement

My requirement is make different people work on the same transaction OB08 simultaneously.

Ofcouse they may work on  updating different exchange rates.

Regarding OB08, I am afraid the functionality you require is not possible.

It is only possible for one person to update this table at any one time

From the 470 release, a new customizing transaction has been created which is called TCURMNT.
There you got the possibility to customize the exchange rates over 'Worklists'.

These worklists can be created within the following IMG path:

SAP NetWeaver
  General Settings
    Currencies
      -> Define Worklist for Exchange Rate Entry
      -> Assign Exchange Rate to the Worklist

Please refer to the documentation about this function.

There you are able to just include one 'exchange rate type' in the first worklist, and an other one in a second list.
Then you can define that only specified user should be able to use the one or an other worklist.
