There seems to be many approaches to creating, maintaining and recording the history of planned maintenance checklists in SAP.
Some options i have heard of:
- Using the PRT to store the checklist as a pdf and recording the results in a general record file in SAP PM
- Using ASPM to generate checklists
- Using task codes in notification
- Using as measuring points with valuation codes during order confirmation.
And i'm assuming there manybe more
I would like to understand:
1. Which method or methods are most widely used for creating managing and storing the result for regular planned maintenance checklists for utilities and manufacturing equipment
2. What methods or method is recommended as the best practice approach to maintenance checklists
3. How to configure the best practise approach
Thanks

Hi there,
I am only aware of one Checklist solution in SAP Asset Management, which is perfectly explained here:
Set up your SAP S/4HANA system for EAM Inspection ... - SAP Community
I hope, that helps.
