Will system try to access other SAP website's content?

Hello all,

In China mainland, sometimes it will be very difficult to access S4HC system homepage even for those data centers located in Shanghai, China. Especially visiting the system first time, I almost have to open the website via network proxy. As far as I know, part of the reason is fiori app code issue. On the other hand, network is also a import point that influence fiori performance.

It was puzzling that it is obviously faster using network proxy to access sysytem(proxy server is located in America) even when visiting Chinese S4HC system, compared not using network proxy. 

Considering accessing some SAP website(eg. fiori app library ) is also very slow, I wonder know if S4HC system will try to fetch other website's content when loading applicaiton? If true, dose that will impact s4hc performance?

Hello

I'm not sure if this will help, but in S/4HC, can you click in upper right and go to Settings->Home Page and select "Load one group at a time". If you have a lot of roles assigned to your user this can negatively impact the initial load as all of the tiles are loaded.
