Hi everyone,
on SAP public cloud, during testing, we find a loophole in the blocking of a stock in QM.
Normally, if we have stock in QM and the usage decision wasn't made, you can not move the stock from the QM stock. But if we set on batches on the material, we can move the stock even with an open inspection lot.
Do you have any ideas why is this possible? Is there any need for an extra setting for material with batches?
thank you for your answers

Hi,
Its a standard SAP process where stock can be posted from quality to unrestricted without a usage decision, regardless of whether the material is batch-managed or not.

@RAHEEL_BABAR Could you share some documentation on that standard process? My experience is that if a material is QM managed all movement touching quality inspection stock have to be executed from QM level. Otherwise stock levels in QM and in MM would get inconsistent.
@DominikTylczynHere is a blog for reference.
Without usage decision, system will allow you do stock posting from Quality to Unrestricted Stock.
Thank you! If I get it right, still any postings touching quality inspection stock have to be posted from QM, not directly in MM, if a material is QM managed, right?
