I pulled total consumption from MC.9 over a period of time. I pulled the same data from the LTAP table and I've found recently that LTAP is more accurate. Why is MC.9 not the same if I pulled them both from the same time? LTAP says how many pieces went on how many deliveries so I don't understand why total consumption isn't matching the numbers. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.pic14-2.png

Hello ash_j
You are comparing apples to oranges. MC.9 displays consumptions values on plant level based on material movements configuration designating them as consumption relevant - see OMJJ:
In contrast LTAP keeps WM transfer order items on a warehouse number level. You mentioned, transfer orders for deliveries, but many more MM movement types are classified as consumption, not only GI to a delivery.
If you think, MC.9 figures are wrong, see the note 453420 - Incorrect stock values in LIS
You might also use the MC45 transaction that reports directly from material documents or material master consumption statistics. In contrast MC.9 reports from LIS info structures.
