Hi QM Guru,
I'd like to know where we set the valuation codes for inspection characteristics result.
"The valuation contains the inspection result that can be used to make the usage decision. Possible values:
No valuation
A (Acceptance)
R (Rejection)
U (Unsuccessful valuation)" Quoted from below.
Where are these valuation codes configured? I remember in ECC, there are Accept and Rejected only.
Please kindly help.
Many thanks,
Sally
Request clarification before answering.
You can configure the UD codes of your inspection lot, the results values of your qualitative characteristics, the defect class for your characteristic (at least partially) but you can't configure the valuation values of the characteristic itself.

Hey Sally
The valuation code for the usage decision is set in QS41. You can configure your own codes but each of them is assigned to accept or reject at the end. This is then set in QA11 during UD.
The valuation of the characteristic itself is done in QE51n for example and does consist only of accept or reject. Valuation is then done based on your ruls in the characteristic.
