When to issue Capital goods stock to asset with movement type 241

Hi Experts,

We have created capital good material type as non valuated material and created asset PO with this material type. We have posted MIGO for this asset and stock is showing for capital goods in MB52. After receiving this asset account department already capitalized this asset. My question is when we should issue this capital good material to asset with movement type 241 in MM or we should keep in stock.

Hi Syed,

You can check in Asset Explorer(AW01N) the values of your non-valuated material should be appear over there as this is non-valuated so the postings has already been posted to assets!

So there is no additional posting will requires as per my assumption!
