What to do with BYD reports with single value variables?

Hi,

I have created a connection to BYD analytics and am importing a report into SAC.
The problem is there are certain variables to the report that are single value, like Set of Books or Key date.
I must select one option and when the report is imported into SAC its already filtered according to these single values.
But what if i want to make a story that can filter according to set of books so in SAC ill have set of books x and y instead of the single value I must choose in BYD.
What would be the best way to achieve this?

Thanks in advace.

Dear

Solution i use for reporting is excel, i maintained all the data in Excel which takes less time as per my requirement instead of dependence on Sap by design system. I reconcile the Excel data with SAP , which double check the data accuracy.

Hi Yan,

I don't know much about about integration with SAC.

If I was you, instead of copying the report from the SAP standard report, I would create the new report from the data source directly. This way you would avoid the "pre-defined" filters made by SAP, and you would have full flexibility on your report. I would then import that new report to SAC.

Hope this helps,

Andie

Hi Andreanne, thanks for the reply.

I Have not seen a way to access BYD's data sources directly(from SAC).
As far as I can tell only the reports are available during integration.
