Hi;
The customer project app has the cost center as one of its mandatory fields. Can someone please explain the purpose of the cost center field in the app. Looking at posting timesheets, expenses, activity allocation, all those journals carry cost object already.

The selected cost center is used to determine cost rates for services planned in a project. If cost conditions are maintained for specific aspects of project planning (such as delivery organization, work package, service cost level, and so on), then these take precedence over the cost conditions of the selected cost center.
