When you are creating or updating an InfoGroup (in table view V_T588D), you can get the list of all possible Operations by using the "Drop-down" menu.

In a Hire action, you will use most exclusively the INS Operation to create Infotypes, but in any other Action, the Operation used would depend on the Infotype, the Action and the Company practices.

For any Action, think of what Infotypes should be impacted (other than IT0000) and how.  Also take into account the Dynamic Actions that are configured.

In the above example for an Organizational Re-assignment, IT0007 will be copied, but that means that Features TMSTA and SCHKZ will not be called.  Also, the InfoGroup does not show that upon saving IT0007, the Dynamic Action will automatically copy IT0008 (with the same Start Date) which will then copy a Custom Infotype (with the same Start Date).

Hi,

These actions differ from company to company. Anyway, you can use like below:

For pay change,

COP0008
COP0001
COP0007
COP0008
COP0008
COP0008

For transfer,

INS0001
INS0002

Retirement,

COP0000
