HI Venkatesha,
In Discrete manufacturing we will use "Routing", and with respect to Repetitive manufacturing, we will use "Rate Routing".
In Discrete manufacturing, production version is not mandatory but in repetitive manufacturing production version is mandatory.
In discrete manufacturing "Backflush", is optional and in Repetitive manufacturing " Backflush", it is mandatory.
In discrete manufacturing " Routing", is complex and in Repetitive manufacturing it is simple.
Discrete manufacturing is order based process and Repetitive manufacturing is period based (quantity) production process.
In Discrete manufacturing transaction activities will be carried out depending on the production order and in repetitive manufacturing transaction activities will be carried out depending on "Planned order", itself. In Repetitive manufacturing no production orders.
In Discrete manufacturing order settlement will be carried out through the "Order based cost control", and in Repetitive manufacturing settlement will be carried out "Period based cost controlling".
Requesting, experts to correct me, If I am wrong anywhere.
