Webshop integration with mapping of gift vouchers in SAP

Dear Sir or Madam,

I would like to know if there are ByDesign application companies that run a webshop integration and sell gift vouchers and show them in SAP. Especially the following aspects are interesting:

How is the invoicing from SAP done when physical goods are shipped in the sales order as well as the gift voucher is sold?

How is the gift voucher redeemed in SAP by a completely different customer?

To what extent can such a process be automated in order to be able to scale?

gerne würde ich erfahren ob es ByDesign Anwendungsunternehmen gibt die eine Webshop Integration betreiben, Gutscheine verkaufen und in SAP abbilden.

Insbesondere Folgende Aspekte sind interessant:

Wie erfolgt die Rechnungsstellung aus SAP wenn im Kundeauftrag physische Ware versendet als auch der Gutschein gekauft wird?

Wie erfolgt die Einlösung des Gutschein in SAP durch einen völlig anderen Kunden?

Inwieweit kann ein solcher Prozess automatisiert werden um skalieren zu können?

Es würde mich freuen wenn es hier Erfahrungen und Rückmeldungen gibt.

Hello,

We do not consider the sale of a gift voucher as an actual Sales Order and therefore it is not invoiced. We consider that a customer buying a sales voucher is only making a deposit, so we handle it only on the bank side.

We have created a bank account that materializes the total amount of the vouchers issued:

- when a customer purchases a voucher, he deposits money on that bank account.

- when a customer uses a voucher to pay, he pays the Sales Order / Invoice using that bank account.

The assignation of the voucher to a specific customer is handled outside SAP in another system. SAP only knows the total amount of vouchers issued and spent.
