We need to overlap multiple Sales Order Blanket Agreements for the Same Customer, Same Item and Same Date Range?

We need to create multiple Blanket Agreements for a single customer for the same item during the same date range (From and To Date). SAP B1 is giving us an error message:

Blanket agreement cannot be added; overlaps Blanket agreement xx, yy. [Blanket agreement - Start Date]

xx and yy are other Blanket Agreements for the Same Item, Same Customer over the same time period.

A Real Life business scenario that our Sales Reps create Blanket agreements today:

BP Code       Agreement Type                                                                   Start Date     End Date     Item Code     Planned Qty          Unit Price    

100000          Customer Department A in Corporate Headquarters        Jan 1, 2014   Dec 1, 2014     IT001          400                         $230

100000          Customer's New York Location                                         Jan 1, 2014   Dec 1, 2014     IT001          600                         $210

100000          Customer Department G in Corporate Headquarters        Jan 1, 2014   Dec 1, 2014     IT001          700                         $190

In Sales Documents, we also need to be able to select the Blanket Agreement if these multiple agreement exists on the Item Line level.

You can do that by enabling the option in General Settings / BP / Blanket Agreements

* Allow Multiple Blanket Agreements for Same Period.

Hi Ron chin,

The above scenario is possible with 8.82 PL10 and 9.0 versions. Please refer SAP note,

1709546 - Only one approved blanket agreement for each period is allowed

Hi,

From the data you gave, I can see the logic behind it. However, B1 cant accept your logic. You may create one line for the 1st 400 qty with price of $230 blanket agreement. The 2nd one may only be created once the quantity has been full-filled. The 3rd one can be created when the additional 600 qty full-filled.
