WBS BOM components not displayed in planned order

Hi Gurus,

Please help me in sloving this issue.

I added four components in WBS BOM with change number. After giving demand and MRP run, Planned orders are generated. In the planned order , those new components are missing.

Kindly provide the valauble input why these components are mssing in the palnned order components.

Please check ECN valid from and to date.

if this is ok,

Please check how you maintained MRP4-BOM explosion.

Please let me know in planned order correct BOM is picked and check the details

Thanks for the response.

ECN date is fine.

In MRP 4 SELECTION IS BY EXPLOSION DATE.

Still it is not picking the correct BOM.

Hello Suman,

The proble is explosion date indicator of BOM selection in MRP4 view. If you are maintaining this one you must have to maintain the BOM explosion number and assign to the header part in customizing then the BOM will be exploded on this key date defined in explosion number..

You change this to "selection by order quantity" in MRp4 view and run the MRP..your problem will be solved.

Sorry for the late resposne. I got busy with other issues.

This issue is still with me. Let me make the requirement a bit more clear.

We are using WBS bom. BOM is changed i.e four new components are added with a change number. Now in the planned order component overview i cannot see new items that are being added, i.e BOM is not exploding.

I have checked everything whatever was being suggested in the above chain mails, but nothing is working.

Kindly provide some input.

Hi,

A BOM is not exploded if one of the following is valid

So Check in these areas:

1. No BOM is effective on the specified explosion date and for the given area of

validity

2. For the given effectivity parameters.

3. Whether BOM has deletion indicator

4. Multiple BOM with no alternatives that matches the lotsize of the reqd qty

5.No BOM that matches the selection criteria of BOM Application
