Our product is steel based Tubes and we have base UoM is Kg and but we are selling the products in Kgs as well as Pcs.
we are maintaining the alternate Uom Pc with Kg, But in our steel industry, always conversion factor is not fix with reference to kg due to material thickness characteristics.
Suppose we have received tubes order from customer in which customer is demanding 1.20mm thickness and but always it is not necessary that production will always be in 1.20mm thickness, it may be vary according to allowable thickness and due to this, conversion factor will not be same.
our concern is that whenever we make gr against production order into system, system should allow us to change the weight as per actual which will be in defined tolerance limit. currently system is not allowing to change "Qty in SKU", it"s getting auto calculated based on conversion factor maintained in material master.
we are requesting you to suggest us the way, so that our stock can be valued properly.
