Wage type Valuation in IT15

Dear Expert,

Some wage type we are paying through additional infotype. But this wage type value is based on calculation.

So how i will configure that once that whenever i will select wage type as a subtype in IT15 value will come automatically as per pay scale level which i have put into IT8.

Please suggest.

simple procedure Sankar,

if you are working on Indian payroll then you can make use of INVAL (Indirect valuation method). and what exactly is your requirement? may be i can give you the solution.

So you are saying that if i will maintain INVAL B of that particular wage type characteristics and then maintain valuation and after that if i will go to IT15 and select that wage type as a subtype then value will come automatically.

Yes Sankar,

you are almost there but you need to include the wage types in V_T7INAx series tables.

if you have INVAL A in V_T511 then V_T510 and V_T7INA9 tables are mandatory.

if you have INVAL B or C in V_T511 then V_T539J and V_T7INA9 tables are mandatory.

if you have INVAL D in V_T511 then V_T539J, V_T7IN7 and V_T7INA9 tables are mandatory.

so config it based on your requirement.
