This is with regards to details request on Vertex accelerator tool.

Currently we are in ECC6 and our business is using Vertex. Now our client want to implement Vertex accelerator tool.

Hence, could you please help us with the details like Functionality and what are the advantage and disadvantages of the Vertex accelerator tool.

Vertex Accelerator brings many tools that are important for the successful implementation of tax solutions with Vertex.  Many requirements which otherwise achieved via development can be done via customization now. For example: Tax data mapping allows mapping standard SAP table fields to Vertex mapping fields. This way additional data elements can be sent from SAP to Vertex for more accurate tax determination. Similarly, the tax code default tool brings tax code on AP transactions in SAP without the user selecting any tax codes. Vertex accelerator reduces custom development, reduces the need for training to share service team, and brings automation.
