VAT Registration number is invalid in vendor master

Hi ,

I have created new country XI(North Ireland) with formal checks length 11 and check 3.I copied XI from GB country in OY17 & OY01

When I try to enter VAT number as 'XI756815889' in vendor master I am getting error 'VAT registration number is invalid'.

Checked OY17,it looks OK for me.

Can somebody throw light for this issue, please?
