Hi,

Variant Configuration is mainly related to Classification System deep, Super BOM, Variant price. Object dependency, etc....

This Part is mainly involves in SD Module. Keep post this in SD forum you will get better results. Because there are other stuffs we need to concentrate inVariant Configuration.

I would highly recommend looking at the SAP Help for Variant Configuration (LO-VC):

Variant Configuration, at a very high level, allows you to create a Super BOM and Super Routing which has all the possible combinations (Materials and Production Operations) for this product. The User Interface would define those combinations and what the valid combinations would be. Imagine having a single Bill of Material defined for each car and each possible option that is available, Variant Configuration consolidates this information by using the Super BOMs and Super Routings. The SAP Help will provide the details you need if you are interested.

hi,

when we run any report and we need to change or set the selection criteria each and every time we run the report.

best way is set the selection paramaters and make it as variant. and give a name to that variant.

every time u will run a report with that varaint it will show your saved parameters
