Hi,

Steps are as below,

1.Create a Material - KMAT type with Item category (002) & select the planning strategy as 25

2.Create Charateristics in CT04 - Zbike, where in values mention the Color of the bile like Red, Blue etc

Create another characteristics in 3.Assign these two characteristics to a Class in CL01 - ZBikeclass ( Type 300) in characteristics tab page.

4.Then go to CU41 Configuration profile select the material and enter the description click on the class assignment ie assign Zbikclass.

5. Create Super BOM & routing .

6. Create object dependency formula for selction contidion , for BOM components & Operation.

7. Create sale order & assign the avrianyt value.

8. Run MRP & do the production cycle in MTO

Hi

The information u have provided may not sufficient to give u the correct method for variant conf. If u can provide the complete scenario, then we can assist u.

becoz the characterstics and class should be considered based on the scenario.
