Variant BOM unable to explode in Sales Order

Hello Experts,

Good Morning,

I am facing an Issue in Variant BOM which is not exploding in Sales Order.

I have created the BOM Master. The Header BOM and the components are configuration material with Item Category Group 4. Refer the BOM master snap shot,

I have also run CU50 to check the consistency of the same. The BOM is exploding and it is consistent. Refer the snap shot.

But when I am crreating the Sales Order, the BOM is not getting explode and giving below message for all the components.

It looks like , you are creating sales order for item GCX_2P_EPL , and during multilevel BOM explosion you are getting this error,  seems problem is with one of the component GCX_CPE, check deatils of this material and if its having BOM check BOM too. If you delete this component from BOM of GCX_2P_EPL, this error will disappear.

If you want it to be included in BOM , check material master and correct it as well as its BOM.

Hi,

Please check the below settings in the configuraiton profile.

1. Process set as "Sales order (SET) ?

2. BOM Explosion: single level

3. Application: SD01

Also check the BOM Usage.
