Value contract material

Hi All,

Wht is value contract material?

As when I create a contract,it ask to enter the material which should be same s the one in item category WKN.

So plz tell me tht why we use value contrct material ?

Hi,

T-code VOV7-Item category wkn-Value contract section-Value contract material-

The system copies the material specified here to the value contract

item, if a material has not already been specified by the you for that

item.Since you have not maintained system gives error message in contract type WK1.

The material entered here provides technical control of the value

contract item with regard to tax determination, statistical updates,

divisions and other figures derived from the material master.

Any Service material can be a value contract Material.

When creating material in T.code: MM01 use Material type as Service.
