Validation prerequisite for 20 asset classes

Hi

We are putting validation in asset master to make the int.order field mandetory in origin tab but we require it only for some asset classes.What single formula should we give in prerequisite considering all required asset classes? we have completed check & message part which is working fine but its for all asset classes not specific asset classes. Can anybody help?

Hi,

If i understand your question clearly,

Normally we set whether the field is mandatory/optional/supress in path :

Asset Accounting => Master Data => Screen Layout => Define screen layout for asset master data.

In this path , you make the field (layout for master data) by asset class.
