Valid From date is not being considered in CS11 but CK11N is considering it.

 Dear Experts,

I have come across a scenario where the system is not considering the Valid From Date of the Production Version in CS11 or its relevant function modules but considering the same in CK11N for Costing.

We can see in the below screenshot, that the Valid From date of the Production Version L1A5 is from 19.09.2024 and the alternative BOM assigned to it is Alternative-5 but in the CS11 screen, we can see different alternative BOM components.

We can see here, that there are 5 components in the Alternative BOM-5.

But in the CS11 t-code, I am getting a correct production version but the Component is being displayed of the alternative BOM-1 only. Here I am getting always alternative BOM-1 for all levels.

In CK11N, I am getting the correct Production Version and the correct alternative BOM-5 with all 5 components.

We are using the S4HANA on Premise 2020 with S4 Core 105.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Let's see the below scenario for a better understanding,

FG Code - FG_FAN_MRP (Only one Alternate BOM)

SFG Code - SFG_FAN_MRP (have 3 Alternative BOM)

Alternative-1 Valid from 01.09.2024 assigned to Production Version 1 as PV01

Alternative-2 Valid from 02.09.2024 assigned to Production Version 2 as PV02

Alternative-3 Valid from 03.09.2024 assigned to Production Version 3 as PV03

In the MRP run and in CS11, the system is considering the Production Version-1 even though the latest valid form date is with Alternative BOM-3.

In the Costing run, the system is properly considering the alternative BOM-3 as this has the latest valid from date.

I hope this note will help you on behaviors  of CS11, CS12 and CS14

2541283 - Other alternative BOM is displayed in CS11/CS12/CS13 and 97273 - CS11 shows bom when entering invalid alternative.

Hello Prasath, thanks for your reply, actually my system is not considering the latest Valid From Date of the Production Version for my child alternative BOM in CS11 and in MRP run but it is considering in CK11N while costing.
