Hello All.
In the migration from ECC to S4, the layout of some transactions have been changed. VA35N is one example. VL71, the output of it is also an example.
Could you please let me know if there is something that can be done to revert that?
Regards,
Leonardo Delgado
Request clarification before answering.
Transactions such as VA35N (List of Sales Orders) and VL71 (Output from Deliveries) have undergone layout and UI changes in S/4HANA due to the adoption of SAP Fiori and the simplified data model. These changes are part of SAP’s modernization strategy and are not easily reversible.
While you cannot fully revert to ECC-style screens, you do have some options:
Use GUI Transactions Instead of Fiori Apps. If your system supports it, you can still access classic GUI versions of transactions via SAP GUI for Windows. This may offer a more familiar layout.
Customize Screen Layouts via Personalization. You can personalize layouts using SAP GUI options (e.g., ALV grid settings) and Fiori personalization (limited but useful for field visibility and order)
Create Custom Z-Transactions - If the layout change significantly impacts business processes, you can work with your ABAP team to create custom transactions that mimic ECC behavior.
