Using Multiple Data Entry Profiles For CATS

Hi Experts,

I am currently on a project using CATS for recording time to Cost Centers and WBS elements. This time should then be transferred to CO and PS accordingly.

However, there is already an existing CATS Data Entry Profile being used to record time-off requests in ESS with the data being transferred to HR.

Data entered in one Data Entry Profile is being recorded in both profiles.

Is it possible to have multiple Data Entry Profiles - one for HR and one for CO and PS?

How do I prevent the data from being recorded in both Data Entry Profiles.

The profile only controls how the time entries are made and what options are given to the user. The data is all stored in the same way/tables. You can't have 2 timecard entries by different profiles. When you do the CATS transfer you should transfer to all areas.

Is there a BaDI or user exit that will allow a user to have multiple data entry profiles and the data entered only show up on that profile?
