Hello all,
I kindly ask for your help regarding a grayed out field for a user-defined characteristic during assignment to a profitability segment of particular items in a sales order (VA01).
When I create a sales order in VA01, select one of the items in the order, and go to tab 'account assignment' and 'profitability segment' for this particular item, one of the (user-defined, not fixed) characteristics is grayed out and cannot be set/changed for a specific item of the sales order. The characteristic automatically takes over the characteristic value that I set in the sales order billing header data and cannot be changed for each of the particular items.
My client wants to be able to make a joint billing for items which have a different (user-defined) characteristic value.
Any help with this matter will be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Neza

If the Business requirement does not meet just because you were maintaining at header level, then, why you should maintain that? Not clear on this
