Usage of preliminary cost estimate in period closing for Product Cost Collectors

Dear CO-PC experts,

we are creating preliminary cost estimates for Product Cost Collectors on a daily basis (in order to consider BoM/routing changes for production confirmation).

Our question is, in case of multiple preliminary cost estimates during the month, which one will be used for WIP determination. The current one at the time when WIP will be created (A), the latest one of the current period (B), or at the time the production confirmation happened (C)? Unfortunately I didn´t found such specific information about the topic in the SAP documentation.
