Upload of cost centers to alternate hierarchy

Hi all,

does anyone know how to assign cost centers to the alternative cost center hierarchy? We loaded 3000 cost centers into the system with the migration cockpit. These cost centers were assigned to the standard hierarchy automatically. How I am wondering how to assign these 3000 cost centers to the alternative hierarchy? The hierarchy is already set up, we just need to assign the cost centers to it. Is there any way to do it with some load, BAPI or do I have to assign the cost centers manually?

Hi

Please have a look at the below blog - if you are referring to assign the cost centre to alternative hierarhcy as a cost centre group, you might be able to use BAPI_COSTCENTERGROUP_CREATE (BUS1112) to create or change or even assign the cost centre. The entry in the VALCOUNT field shows the number of assigned values or value intervals.
